Instructions

Divide the cabbage, onion, bell pepper, and sausage among four 12-inch squares of aluminum foil.

Season each portion with salt and pepper and sprinkle a small pinch of garlic powder and thyme over the top.

Place a piece of butter on each pile of ingredients.

To seal the packets, bring two opposite sides of the foil together and fold the edges down several times. Then fold the ends up and fold over on themselves at least twice to secure.

Heat a grill to medium-high. Place the foil packets on the grill, cover, and cook for 12 minutes.

Flip each packet and grill an additional 10 minutes, or reduce times if you prefer firmer cabbage.
