Top Recipes from 2015: Most-Loved Dishes and Classics

2016 is almost here, and I’m ready. While 2015 brought a mix of highs and lows, I prefer to focus on the highlights and celebrate the good moments.

This past year included an incredible summer full of memorable food and travel. I enjoyed meatballs in Sweden, lobster and oysters in Maine, smoked meat in Montreal and countless treats at Disney World. I visited the Sabra factory in Richmond and happily indulged in hummus, and I even judged a veal slider competition in Western New York. On the personal front, I graduated from culinary school, started a new non-food-related job, and developed a passion for photography. I’m excited to see what 2016 will bring.

This year I published exactly 100 recipes on Healthy Delicious — each one tested, refined, photographed, and written. It’s no surprise I feel exhausted sometimes, but it’s incredibly rewarding.

Rundowns of the year’s recipes are one of my favorite ways to reflect, and this recap is no exception. The list includes several of my personal favorites and a few that surprised me by resurfacing. A couple of my top picks didn’t make this particular round-up (for example, crispy crust mushroom pizza and raspberry Earl Grey milkshakes), but the collection shown here still represents a strong variety of flavors and techniques. I’ve also shared top recipe round-ups from previous years for reference.
