Energy Balls 4ever

Between testing recipes and meal prepping, I’ve been making energy balls non-stop. My freezer is full of ready-to-grab snacks—perfect for hectic weeks or a quick post-workout bite. These apple chai balls are one of my recent favorites because they’re flavorful, satisfying, and hold up well in the fridge or freezer.

No Food Processor Required!

One of the best things about this recipe is how simple it is to make—no food processor needed. Because the dried apples are chopped rather than pureed and the recipe uses rolled oats and almond butter instead of whole nuts, everything comes together easily in a bowl. If you don’t own a high-speed blender, these are an ideal option.

Apple Chai Energy Balls

This recipe captures the essence of fall. Dried apples give a naturally sweet, chewy texture, and the chai spice mix—cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, and ginger—adds warmth and depth. Instead of pureeing the fruit as you might with dates, we chop the dried apples into small pieces so the bites have pleasant texture and chew.

The simple base of almond butter, rolled oats, and honey holds the mixture together while providing wholesome nutrition. Add the chopped dried apples and spices, stir, shape, and you have a delicious snack that tastes like autumn in every bite.
