I love browsing the party aisle at Target — especially the colorful straws and shiny candy. One day the pearly white gumballs caught my eye because they looked just like little snowballs. I grabbed some mason jars at home and decided to turn those gumballs into a simple edible gift: edible snow tags.

Along with plain “edible snow,” I made tags that say “we’re snow grateful for you” and “we love you snow much.” These make sweet, inexpensive gifts for teachers, neighbors, friends, and family. Because the design is winter-themed rather than strictly holiday-specific, the jars work well anytime during the colder months.

To make this easy gift you’ll need:
- white gumballs
- mason jars
- cardstock
- scissors
- hole punch
- printer
- twine
The project is straightforward: download the printable tags, print them on cardstock, cut them out, punch a hole, and tie them to a jar filled with the white gumballs to create your edible snow.

These printables make it fast and simple to create a thoughtful, homemade gift that looks charming and costs very little. If you want more tag ideas, consider mixing different colors of twine, using decorative scissors for the cardstock edges, or pairing the jar with a small note or hot cocoa packet for a cozy winter gift bundle.
